Hey Tina, nice post! Can I give an idea of video/post? I am in a process of changing careers, now I am an Electronic Engineer working in the automobile industry as a Hardware Architect, but since 2020 I decided to return to university and get a second degree in Computer Engineer, and now I think I am ready to start the search for a job in IT. What do you think to create a content advising on a portfolio creation aiming this type of situation? People in career changing with years of experience in a different field trying to change to an IT career. I hope I made myself clear. Thank you and keep up with the good work =D

hey Tina,

for my fear of failure and perfectionism i am currently trying self-compassion, starting with the smallest step possible and not treating procrastination as negative but integral part of the process.

does it make me a lot more productive?? no lol but it makes work a tiny bit more enjoyable and who know in the long run i might actually be more productive because it's more sustainable that way 🤷‍♂️

what is even productivity??

Hey Tina,

I have--and am working on--my fear of failure. I've read countless posts, articles, and other things about feeling the fear and doing it anyway. Definitely an easier said than done concept, especially if you are prone to overthinking like I am. But being more active on Substack is one way I am working through that. My way of productive procrastination is doing things around the house, like tidying up, or running errands. Which is, unfortunately, rather effective as there is always something to do!

Hope you're having fun in HK. Thanks for sharing. ♥
