I'm a little late but just now seeing this, but that pic reminds me of two places, The Kerry Center (嘉里中心 or the Capital Land Mall at Taiyanggong（太阳宫凯德）。Our Beijing place is a few stops from Taiyanggong so I go there more and it was my first thought, but I figure it is more likely you were near the Guomao area hence my Kerry Center guess.
