Gday Tina, I love your work, YouTube vids and of course LonelyOctopus(i'm a sucker for cute things). You seem kinda random but have very clear purpose...kinda reminds me of heteroscedasticity hahaha. I have subscribed and will be reading/watching everything you post. Stay well. Cheers (>‿◠)✌

IF hair color is defined by the law of independent assortment, it could be a couple of one parent homozygous recessive and the other one could be heterozygous. So the combination would be rryy x RrYy (not RrYy x RrYy).

I love waking up to your newsletter! I’m visiting LA for a concert and my grandmother called me to ask how I was doing. In my stress from traffic, crowds, and just general LA craziness I ended up answering her in English (which she speaks none of lol) and I couldn’t for the life of me figure out how to properly translate my thoughts in Romanian for her! I lived there for 15 years of my life and yet English is so pervasive in my life I forget all the other languages I speak :(. I think I need to travel more to re-immerse myself, multilingualism is an amazing skill I don’t want to let go of.

Oh, while on my flights I ended up reading Barking up the Wrong Tree at your recommendation. I loved it! Now if I could get over my love for reading such books and reprogram my brain to put them into action 😩

Free months ago, I came across this article ( https://mariepoulin.com/blog/how-we-manage-our-business-household-and-personal-finances-as-a-couple/ ) . This is the first time I learned about "Profit First. " Hope you enjoy it too :)

English is also my first language now, but not my native language (Italian). I learned English at 17 when I first came to the US. And many years later I'm sick of America and want to move to China. Except there's no easy way for me to accomplish that. I'm currently at step 1: 学习中文

Exactly what I thought while watching HOTD. However what they've depicted in the show is that if you're half Targaryen, being born with white hair is inevitable. Your approach with the diagram makes sense though.

Can totally relate to the language side of things. My native Hungarian is languishing while using English for everything, even for learning other languages.

The "money problems" are due to technical problems like WeChat et. al? 加油!

Love it. Soo many words in English I try to translate in vietnamese. Not nearly as complicated as you. So I had to tell my mom what a gopher was, and my sister and I just translated "gopher" to a big ass rat! I'm glad you're doing good!

Yay! Newsletter! Wow. I would hate to ask my mom to go with me to everyplace. That must feel really strange, but at least you create some bonding time and memories on your journey back to rediscovering your first home.

Interesting direction on House of Dragon. What led to that thought pattern? It is very sus how the ones in power most have white hair.

No clue how to say it in Chinese and no idea what it means in English. Do you speak any other languages? Currently trying out Scratch as way to get started into programming.

It is too bad you did not get anymore insight into a topic you already knew about. Perhaps the author was not nuanced enough and it was a more introductory type of book.

I look forward to the next one and your vids, whatever they may be.
