🐈⬛ Life
Hi friend! How’s the week going for you?
I returned to Mountain View to pack up all my things and said goodbye to the US. Next stop: Vancouver, Canada. The plan is to stay in Vancouver for a couple of weeks and then head over to China. Not sure if I can actually get into China because of the super strict quarantine laws but fingers crossed. 🤞It’s been ten years since I’ve lived there, so I’m sure there’ll be a huge culture shock. I can’t wait to show y’all where I grew up!
It’s time to close this chapter of my life and look toward the future. 🔮
(๑*ᗜ*) Anime
Soooo no anime. I guess I’m taking an anime break.
📖 Books
I started reading Crucial Conversations - a recommendation from my friend Miki. It’s a book about how to navigate conversations to lead to your desired results. The book teaches readers how to be persuasive rather than abrasive, how to get back to productive dialogue when others blow up or clam up, and generally how to master high-stake conversations regardless of the topic, person, or relationship.
I think the ability to navigate difficult conversations is a skill that some people naturally have. But I definitely do not lol. It’s a book that I wish I had read earlier, but ALAS better late than never, right? I already know I will be revisiting this book and slowly applying the teachings because it’s packed with useful frameworks and examples.
🌻 Learning & Productivity
The study with me livestreams have helped me so much. If it weren’t for all of you that come to the livestreams, I’d be struggling so much more to get back into a routine. Just showing up makes a huge difference. Thank you tortoises. 🐢
👨💻 What I’m Working On
I’m getting back into things with building Lonely Octopus. I’m also planning a new video, which I think will be a bit different from what I’ve done in the past. I’m thinking something like half vlog and half talk - wow that rhymes. Also some shorts!

Damn... so all the way to China then.
WhY sO fAaAr?!?!?😂😂
Nah but I feel your choice in going back will do you good. Nothing is better than goin’ back to a place of nostalgia and recollect fond memories of a time before. A place before the realization of real life catches you with your pants down and you have to wrestle with it.
When the biggest worry in your life was how are you going to tell your 3rd grade teacher that you didn’t do your homework? SHOULD you even tell her since you know you’ll be getting looks of “oh my sweet summer’s child”? Or just lie and say you are not feeling well so your parents can come pick you up before and you can avoid doomsday?
A simple hypothetical you know? Nothing that happened to me of course, just something a friend confided in me. LMAOOO
Anyboop, do take care wherever you go and heal your soul. I’m looking forward to seeing and knowing more about your birthplace!
we want Canada vlogs :D
