šā⬠Life
Hi friend! Howās the week going for you? Another intense week and Iām excited to buy the parts to build a PC this weekend. About time huh? ALSO REMINDER TO SUBMIT YOUR TAXES!! š§¾
(ą¹*į*) Anime
I watched a lot of anime this week. Finally watched all of ReLIFE and also some of Life with an Ordinary Guy Who Reincarnated into a Total Fantasy Knockout, thank you Ecstacy #6969 for the recommendation!
ReLIFE is about this 27 year old guy whoās a semi NEET that was offered a chance to go back to the last year of high school. Itās a 1-year experiment for him to experience the āspringtime of youthā again and reinvigorate his dead soul lol. Itās like an adultās take on high school and kind of made me remember all the times that I didnāt realize were precious when I was that age too. š„ŗ
Yeah, Iām still on a slice-of-life binge. Itās done really well - highly recommend!
š Books
I started reading two books, the first one is a business/strategy book called Blue Ocean Strategy and the other is called The Body Keeps the Score.
The Body Keeps The Score is a very interesting book. Itās about how trauma manifests itself and wrecks havoc on your body and mind. It talks about how trauma rewires the brain to put people in a constant state of stress or numbness, which results to a bunch of physical issues as well.

I think the scariest thing to me is how insidious trauma can be. For a lot of people, trauma doesnāt just go away, it follows you throughout your entire life and continuously screws things up. And the scariest part is that oftentimes people donāt even realize that itās the trauma. They repeatedly do things that they know are bad for them and react to stimuli in a certain way even though they consciously know that itās illogical, yet they canāt control it.
Itās an evidence-based book and offers a lot of insights into how the brain functions. Since trauma is both so prevalent and insidious, I highly recommend this book even if itās not directly relevant to you. Chances are thereās someone you know that may be suffering from the aftermath of trauma, even if they donāt realize it themselves.
š» Learning & Productivity
Tbh nothing new to report here. Still continuing my experiment with environment design. Weāre also working on re-doing our website and designing scoreboard templates for the scoreboards! Hereās the video about what scoreboards are btw if youāre not familiar. š»
I thought I would share a bit about my reading system though!
I usually have 2 - 3 different books Iām reading at the same time. Itās usually one light fiction book, one not too difficult to digest book eg. The Body Keeps the Score and Never Split the Difference, and one more intense book eg. Blue Ocean Strategy.

The light fiction book I listen to as an audiobook whenever I have some free time and when Iām doing things like cleaning. The not too difficult to digest book I also listen to as an audiobook when Iām biking and doing exercise. The more intense book I read on kindle at night before I go to sleep.

In case anyone is curious I have an Amazon Kindle Oasis and itās amazing but super expensive. I upgraded from the Paperwhite when that one started dying. Kinda justified it because I do use it a lot. For most people though, I would recommend starting with a Paperwhite and see how much you actually use it! But alas, it seems both are out of stock right now thoughā¦
Lmk if youāre interested in my entire reading system like taking notes, revisiting etc.
šØāš» Coding

Yeah i'm interested in your entire reading system i recently started to read and enjoy it so any good methods to help me get more out my time and out of the book i'm reading are much appreciated š¤
Thanks for sharing all of these! It's amazing you can do so many things at the same time ---- full-time work, starting your own company, blockchain project and stuff and you also manage to take care of life&mental stuff. You are inspiring me to learn things and be more accountable.
