I am so excited for you and how lonely octopus is taking up shape! I’m a strong believer in diversifying income and creative communities so I can see how this project can satisfy multiple needs. I’ve been reading a lot on FIRE and the types of freedoms you describe here and I want to reach similar goals. I also need that dopamine hit! I don’t think I could ever convince myself to take a cold shower but I’ll try the sunshine trick as soon as the sun decides to start shining over New England haha :)

I’m looking forward to hopefully being a part of the lonely octopi cohort! How can I make sure I hear about it as soon as it’s open?

Also love your AI art!

Love the octopi art you made! Been playing around with Midjourney for a few months with mixed results, but I’m learning.

Hello Tina,

This was so beautifully written. I sense the difference in the writing. The tone sounds calmer and relaxed. That baseline dopamine must be rising after trying out those skills learned regarding sleep and showers. I used to like room temp showers, but then I got used to super hot showers. Upon reading this, I'll try switching back to cooler showers. I've also been trying to sneak in the morning sunlight since Matt Walker really recommends it in his book, "Why we Sleep"

I'm glad that you are trying to establish habits. I recently heard the book, "Hello, habits" and the author writes that they aspire to become their habits. I thought that was powerful and scary, but now I see the wisdom in that phrasing. I understand now that we all have habits, but they may not be the ones we actually want or enjoy.

The AI art really looks beautiful especially that last one since it is very happy and positive looking.

I would like to hear more about the AI projects that you have lined up.
