🍥 Life
Hi friends! We’re midway past January. 👀
It’s the season of 糖葫芦 (tanghulu)! I remember there was this TikTok trend a while back where everybody was really into it for some reason lol. But FUN FACT did you know that 糖葫芦 originated from Northern Chinese cities like Beijing? It’s a traditional outdoor snack because the cold makes it crunchy and refreshing!
Btw follow me on IG? 🤗🤗
🌻 Interesting Things (I think)
A range of things that I find interesting! 👇
🤖 Tech & AI
OpenAI finally launched the GPT Store! Seems like it’ll be less like an app store and more like Spotify where they’ll give you revshare based on usage.
CES 2024 happened in Vegas this week where there were a lot of cool products! Some of my favourite ones:
📽️ Holograms! It’s giving Cyberpunk advertisement vibes.
🐰 Rabbit R1. Have you heard of the Humane Pin? It’s supposed to replace your phone and projects to your hands, track what you eat with computer vision, and other crazy stuff….R1 is a much cheaper competitor! Humane Pin is $699 + subscription while R1 is only $199.
😷 Skyted Silent Mask. Exactly what it sounds like lol. It’s a mask that you can put on that’s sound proof so you can inconspicuously talk shit on the phone about the person next to you.
🐶 Samsung Ballie. It’s like Alexa x iRobot. A smart home companion that rolls around by itself and can play with your dog, project things on the walls and the floors, workout with you, in addition to normal Alexa things like controlling your home devices.
🖊️ Learning
I started reading this book called On Task because I can’t stay on task. Will report back with summary next week! 🤗
