Happy Chinese New Year! 🐲🎉
HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR!! I went to Yunnan (云南)
and spent new years in the mountains with no wifi. It was amazing
Yunnan is such an interesting place and I would highly recommend going to visit if you can. Fun fact: China has 56 different minorities.
One of the minority families allowed visitors to go into their house for a tour to learn more about their culture. They are called the Mosuo people (摩梭人), the last true matriarchy in the world. They are most known for that fact that people don’t marry. Each person belongs to their own family with the oldest female heading the family.
ChatGPT Tip: Read and search documents
One helpful ChatGPT use case is to upload documents and then ask questions. For example, one of my favorite finance books of all time is called The Richest Man In Babylon. I highly recommend it!
However, it’s been a while since I’ve read the book and I want a refresher, especially on a section I remember about a bricklayer that should not invest in jewellery. Instead of having to flip through the book or googling it which may not find the exact answer, I can upload the PDF and then ask ChatGPT:
🧑🏫 What are the major lessons from the uploaded book again?
🧱 Why should the bricklayer not have invested in jewellery?
🏦I’m just starting to learn how to invest, what percentage does the uploaded book recommend I invest?
This ChatGPT use case is also very useful if you need to read a lot of research papers, searching through manuals for something specific, or summarising documents.
What ideas do you have for using this feature?
