I went to a Buddhist temple the other day in Singapore. Even though I’m not religious (I consider myself spiritual) I did do the qiuqian or drawing lots which are for fortune telling. I actually did two of them at two different temples. I got almost the exact same fortune though which I was like. 😮
I wanna share but idk is that considered bad luck? Anyone familiar with Buddhism can you let me know?

Bill Gate’s predictions for AI. I feel really excited for all the innovation that are (will be) happening in education, climate change, productivity, and healthcare.
Bill Gate’s article on the risks of AI. I think the biggest takeaway is that AI is not magically different from all the other historical moments of great technological leaps forward. There will be many changes (both good and bad) but any problems caused by AI can also be managed with the help of AI.
Sam Altman’s tweets here and here about AI. TL;DR he’s very optimistic.
Elon Musk’s prediction for AI. He predicts that we’ll reach AGI in 3 years and will create a future where no job is needed. I personally am a bit doubtful, not because that it isn’t possible, but that human nature will not allow it. Kinda reminds me of Keynes’ prediction that by 2030 we’ll only work 15 hours per week. Nope lol.
International Monetary Fund AI report. This is a well balanced report that further addresses the concerns with AI, including spread of misinformation, job loss, increased inequity, and the proliferation of biases. The researchers explains two wildly different outcomes - one beneficial and one detrimental. I HIGHLY recommend reading this report!
